ANTICS.

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2026-10-30

Antics is a bingo game friends and family play together, in person, using secret predictions ("Calls") about each other. It is made by Mizar Media LLC, Idaho, USA. This page says what Antics collects, why, who else sees it, how long it lasts, and how to have it removed.

What we collect

Your account. Antics gives you an anonymous account tied to your phone. We keep that account id, the display name you choose, the date you confirmed your age, the time you accepted the terms, your notification switches, and your player card (a monogram, shape, color and any title you earn). We never ask for your phone number or real name. The year you were born stays on your phone and is not sent to us.

Saving your account. You can save your account in Settings with Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In or your email address. Then we also keep the id the provider gives us and the email address on that account (Apple may hand us a relay address instead of your real one). We ask Apple for your email only, never your name. Google's sign-in includes your name and a profile picture link, which our sign-in provider stores with the account; Antics never shows or uses them. We use the email only to get your account back on a new phone and to send you the sign-in code. Nobody at your Tables sees it, and we never sell it.

Your games. Tables you create or join (the Table name, event date and join code), the Cast (the names of the people at the gathering that players type in), the Calls you write, your boards, the squares you mark, wins, the messages and GIFs you post in a Table's chat, and the reactions you give to messages.

Your photo. You can put a photo from your phone on your player card. It is optional. The photo is cropped and resized on your phone, and location data in the file is dropped, before it leaves your phone. It is then checked by Google Cloud Vision SafeSearch for prohibited content; a photo that fails is deleted and never shown. A photo that passes is stored on Supabase in Oregon, USA, and shown only to people at your Tables. We never use it in ads, we never run face recognition on it, and we never share it with anyone else. Replace it or delete it any time in Settings; it is deleted with your account.

GIFs. GIFs in the chat come from KLIPY. When you search for one, the words you type and your phone's IP address go to KLIPY, and the GIFs you see load from KLIPY's servers. No account id or name goes with them. You can also post a GIF of your own, from your keyboard or your photo library. It is checked by Google Cloud Vision SafeSearch before anyone sees it (a GIF that fails is deleted and never shown), stored on Supabase in Oregon, USA, and shown only to the people at that Table. It is deleted with the message, with the Table, or with your account.

Friends. Once a Table you are both in is dealt, you and the other players at it become friends in the app. We keep that list (who, and which Table it started at) so you can invite each other to the next Table from inside the app. Remove anyone from Friends and you drop off each other's lists; block anyone and the same happens. When a friend invites you, we keep who invited whom and to which Table until you join or decline.

Notifications. If you turn notifications on, we keep your phone's push token and three switches you set in Settings: during a game, your Tables, and invites. We only send what those switches allow. A chat notification shows who posted and the start of the message; no notification ever carries a Call or a Cast member's name, so a glance at a lock screen gives the game away to nobody. We never send ads or sales by notification.

Safety records. If you file a report, we keep the reason, any note you add, and a snapshot of the reported content. If you block another player, we keep that block until you undo it. We also keep a log of refused actions (a hashed key and a time, no text) to spot abuse.

Your phone. A device id, whether it is an iPhone or Android phone, and a push notification token if you turn notifications on.

Your connection. Our servers see your IP address when the app connects. We keep a keyed hash of it (a one-way code made with a secret only our database holds), which we use to limit how fast anyone can join Tables, write Calls, post or file reports. Our sign-in provider also records the address and the app version of each signed-in session, kept until that session ends or you delete your account. The raw address passes through our hosting providers' logs on their normal schedule. The address also tells us which country, and where our provider knows it which state or province, you are connecting from. The app uses that once, to apply the minimum age for your place. We do not store it.

Crash and usage data. When switched on, crash reports and usage events (which screens you open, which features you use). Call text, names and notes are scrubbed out before a crash report leaves your phone and are never part of a usage event.

Purchases and ads. The app contains the software for in-app purchases and ads, but neither is switched on today. Before either one turns on, this page gets a new effective date that says what they collect.

How we use it

To run the game: show your name and Calls to the people at your Table, deal boards, score wins and build the Reveal. To keep people safe: filter words, handle reports and blocks, and limit abuse. To fix the app: crash reports. To understand what gets used: usage events. Nothing else. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising across other sites or apps.

Who else sees it

Every company below is a service provider that handles data only to run Antics for us. Each one gives your data the same or equal protection as this policy and as Apple's and Google's rules require.

Other players at your Table see your display name, your player card and its photo, your Calls (without your name on them until the Reveal), your marks and wins, and what you post in that Table's chat. A player you block, or who blocks you, sees none of your messages or your photo. If you share a Reveal image, it goes wherever you send it; your photo is never part of a share image.

No other company collects information about you across other websites or apps over time through Antics. Antics does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, because it does no tracking across sites.

People named in a game

If a player names you in a game, Mizar Media LLC, Idaho, USA, holds your first name and the Calls written about you. We collect them from the player, not from you, to run that one game. Only the members of that Table see them, plus the companies that host Antics for us. They are deleted with the Table, about 90 days after the event, unless a member saved the recap. You can ask to see them, correct them or have them removed by emailing [email protected] with the Table code or the host's name. The app tells players this when they add a name.

How long we keep it

Your choices and your rights

In the app you can change your display name and player card in Settings, add, replace or delete your photo, edit or delete your own Calls until the boards are dealt, delete your own chat messages, leave any Table, block any player, and delete your account. If an intimate image of you was posted without your consent, the Safety page says how to have it removed within 48 hours. Notifications are controlled in Antics Settings and in your phone's Settings. If you saved your account with Apple, Google or your email, deleting your account removes that too.

For anything else, including a copy of your data, a correction, or a question, email [email protected] from the app or with your account code (shown at the bottom of Settings). We answer within 45 days.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for advertising across other companies' apps or sites. If that ever changes, we will update this policy with a new effective date before it happens and tell you in the app. We will not sell information we collected before the change unless you agree, and you will be able to opt out. We will never sell or share Cast names or Calls, which describe people who never used Antics, or anything about a player under 18. Nevada residents: our designated request address for requests not to sell your covered information is [email protected] (subject "Nevada"); include your account code so we can verify the request, and we answer within 60 days.

Deleting your data

Delete your account inside the app (Settings, then Delete account), from this site's account deletion page, or by emailing [email protected]. Two things outlive your account: reports other players filed about something you posted (up to one year), and the Cast names you typed into a Table, which are names of people at the party and stay with that Table until it is deleted.

Children

Antics is for people 13 and older, 14 and older in Canada, and older still where a local law asks for it. When you make your account, the app also asks Apple or Google for the age range they hold for you, where your phone supports it. We keep only the resulting category (under 13, 13 to 15, 16 to 17, or adult) and which store answered, use it only to apply age rules, and never use it for ads or measurement. We do not knowingly create accounts for, or collect information from, anyone under 13. If we learn that we have, we delete it. If you are a parent or guardian and think your child under 13 is using Antics, email [email protected] with the Table code or the account code. We will delete the account and its data and tell you when it is done.

How we protect it

Data travels over encrypted connections and is encrypted at rest by our hosting provider. Every table in our database has row-level security, so the server only hands a player the rows of the Tables they belong to. Access to the live database is limited to the people who run Antics.

Where Antics is available

Antics is listed in the App Store and Google Play in the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Your information is stored and processed in the United States, so it may be accessible to courts, law enforcement and national security authorities there.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy in a way that matters, we say so in the app or on this page before the change takes effect, and the effective date at the top moves.
