Antics is made by Mizar Media LLC, Idaho, USA ("we"). These terms are the deal between you and us for using Antics. You agree to them by tapping Continue or Join the Table on the screen where you pick your name. If you do not agree, do not use Antics.
You must be 13 or older. If you are under 18, you need a parent's or guardian's permission to use Antics, and they agree to these terms on your behalf. If you are under 18 and live in a state that requires a parent's consent through the app store, these Terms bind you only once your parent or guardian has given that consent through the store, and we do not enforce them against you before that.
Calls, Cast names, Table names, your display name, your chat messages, the GIFs and reactions you post (including GIFs you upload yourself), and your card photo are yours. You give us a license to store them, show them to the members of your Table, and use them to run the game (dealing boards, scoring wins, building the Reveal). The license ends when the content is deleted, except for copies kept in reports or backups as the Privacy Policy describes. We claim no ownership of anything you write.
You are responsible for what you post. Calls are predictions and jokes, not statements of fact, and they are about real people, so keep them to things you would say to their face. Do not write anything false that could hurt someone's reputation, or anything private about them. Before your first message, reaction or photo, the app asks you to agree to these rules once. You may not post:
The house rules in the app say the same thing in fewer words. Every card photo is checked by an automated filter before anyone sees it, and a photo that fails is deleted.
The person who creates a Table is its host. A host may delete any Call or chat message and remove any player from their Table at any time, for any reason. A host who shares a Reveal image outside the Table is responsible for what it shows.
Anyone can report a Call, a chat message, a Table or a player's photo from inside the app, and anyone can block another player. Our Safety page has the child safety standards and the way to have an intimate image removed within 48 hours. Content is written by players, not by us. We may remove any content and suspend or end any account at our discretion when we believe it breaks these terms or puts someone at risk, but we do not promise to review or remove everything, and we are not responsible for what players write.
Parental control tools that limit what minors can see online are available from phone makers and other companies. Apple's Screen Time and Google's Family Link are two.
If you believe something in Antics copies your work, email [email protected] with the content, where it appears, your contact details and a statement that you own the work. We remove content that infringes and we end the accounts of repeat infringers.
Antics is free. If we offer items for sale, you buy them through Apple's App Store or Google Play, and their refund rules apply; we cannot issue store refunds ourselves. Items you buy are a license to use them in Antics, not property. Items that are not used up can be restored on a new phone with Restore purchases. Items that are used up (such as a re-roll) are gone once used. We may change or retire items, and we will say so in advance for anything you paid for.
You can stop using Antics or delete your account at any time (Settings, then Delete account). We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, with notice where we can give it. Sections about your content, disclaimers, limits on our liability and disputes survive.
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we say so in the app or on this page before the change takes effect, and the effective date at the top moves. Using Antics after that date means you accept the change.
Antics is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free or available at any particular time, and we make no other warranty, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from Antics. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, USA, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Before filing a claim, email us at [email protected] and give us 30 days to sort it out. After that, claims go to the state or federal courts located in Idaho, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction. Either of us may instead bring a qualifying claim in small claims court.
If you got Antics from Apple's App Store, Apple's standard end-user license agreement also applies, Apple is not a party to these terms, and Apple has no responsibility for Antics or its content. If you got it from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.
If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Antics.
